The required standard (for example <em>DIN 912, ISO 4762, ANSI B18.3<\/em>) is extremely important and should be known if possible.<\/p>\n<p>1.) If the standard isn&#8217;t available, a description of the head shape (<em>cylinder head, countersunk head, lens head, hexagon, half-round head<\/em>, etc.) and the drive (<em>cross recess Pozidriv, cross recess Phillips, hexagon socket, hexalobular socket or Torx, slotted<\/em>, etc.) is also sufficient. Of course, this doesn&#8217;t apply when describing a nut or washer.<\/p>\n<p>2.) You should also provide a precise as possible description of the material. There are different ways of describing the required materials.<br \/>Stainless steel A2 can also be called 1.4301 or X5CrNi18-10! So, it&#8217;s important to pay close attention to any special material requirements.<br \/>We&#8217;re happy to offer you every conceivable material at any time (<em>stainless steel A1, A2, and A4; steel, brass, titanium, Nitronic\u00ae, polyamide, and many more<\/em>).<\/p>\n<p>3.) Next, specify the diameter (metric, metric with fine thread, UNC, UNF) and the length.<\/p>\n<p>4.) Finally, specify any required surface treatment. A distinction must be made between classic steel and stainless steel parts!
