Only when the necessary measures and rules of conduct are &#8220;lived&#8221; and are not dismissed as an inconvenience can dangers and damage be reduced or &#8211; ideally &#8211; even prevented.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Despite all structural and technical precautions:<br>Every company needs to think about how to respond in the event of a fire. The procedure must be planned and organized.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To ensure workplace safety, some Korrodin employees have received <strong>fire safety <\/strong><br><strong>assistant training<\/strong>.<br>The goal was to be able to take immediate initial actions in the event of a fire.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The participants were taught the necessary basic knowledge at the training center of the Nuremberg Fire Department by two instructors who had many years of experience as firefighters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Group 1: September 3, 2024<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Group 2: September 5, 2024<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div id=\"wp-block-themeisle-blocks-accordion-b06acb51\" class=\"wp-block-themeisle-blocks-accordion exclusive\">\n<details class=\"wp-block-themeisle-blocks-accordion-item\"><summary class=\"wp-block-themeisle-blocks-accordion-item__title\"><div>Theory:<\/div><\/summary><div class=\"wp-block-themeisle-blocks-accordion-item__content\">\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Information on the legal framework conditions (Occupational Health and Safety Regulation A1 (BGV A1) and the Occupational Safety and Health Act (ArbSchG))<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Basics of preventive fire safety<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Basics of combustion and extinguishing<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Effectiveness and suitability of extinguishing agents<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fire safety regulations part A and B<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Behavior in the event of a fire<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fire alarm systems, alarm routes and alarm devices<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Design and function of portable fire extinguishers and wall hydrants<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Principles of operation for portable fire extinguishers<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" src=\"https:\/\/korrodin.biz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/Spezialfahrzeug-fuer-Schulungen-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-25201\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div><\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-themeisle-blocks-accordion-item\"><summary class=\"wp-block-themeisle-blocks-accordion-item__title\"><div>Practice:<\/div><\/summary><div class=\"wp-block-themeisle-blocks-accordion-item__content\">\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Function and handling of portable fire extinguishers<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Function and handling of type F wall hydrants<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Use of common extinguishing agents on open flames<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fighting incipient fires<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Demonstration of typical unsafe or incorrect behaviors<br>&#8211; Never fight grease fires with water<br>&#8211; Never leave deodorant bottles in vehicles when it is hot<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video controls src=\"https:\/\/korrodin.biz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/Wasser-in-Oel-geschuettet.mov\"><\/video><\/figure>\n<\/div><\/details>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" src=\"https:\/\/korrodin.biz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/image_50432769-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-25199\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>We would like to thank our <strong>10 volunteers <\/strong>(!!!) for their interest and strong commitment!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We especially want to highlight that, for the first time &#8211; in addition to our &#8220;long-serving&#8221; employees &#8211; a trainee and a &#8220;recent graduate&#8221; were found for this responsible position.
