Incoming goods inspection at Korrodin
To ensure that you as a customer receive the exceptional quality you have come to expect from us, we have introduced a detailed inspection process for incoming goods.
Find out here how to ensure flawless delivery!
Incoming goods:
Our incoming goods department has already checked the incoming goods for external damage and defects, so that measures can be taken in good time if necessary. After the incoming goods have been checked for completeness, the parts are scrutinized for the first time.
Acceptance of goods:
First of all, the components are wedded to our system for the first time. The initial basic parameters, such as batches, are defined. The goods have already undergone an external inspection at this stage. Any foreign materials, discoloration or other deviations have been detected and documented in advance. Once this has been done, reference quantities are passed on to quality assurance, where the good are thoroughly tested.
Quality assurance:
The actual values are recorded in the test report, a document in which specifies the exact dimensional requirements of the component. The target values are taken from the applicable standard and/or the drawing. Of course, we can also conduct specific tests in consultation with you as the customer. This allows us to ensure that the goods meet your exact requirements and specifications!
Test equipment:
With our wide range of test equipment, we can measure virtually any dimension. For example, we check the depth of the drive to the nearest hundredth with the help of dial gauges for gate depths or hexagon socket depths. The micrometer can measure diameters to a thousandth of a millimeter. We use our projector to measure any components which are so small that they’re almost invisible to the eye. With up to 40x magnification, we can measure components of any dimension, no matter how small.
Recording:
All actual values, dimensions and characteristics are recorded on the test report. This report is digitized and can be accessed for at least 20 years. This ensures that detailed inspection documentation is available for every batch and every delivery in the long term.
