Would you like to make your inquiries as effective as possible and save time and effort? Then apply these tips and never get an incomplete or incorrect offer again!

If you’re new to the topic of C-Parts, or simply want to optimize your inquiry process, the following is a guide to making complete and detailed inquiries:

1.) The required standard (for example DIN 912, ISO 4762, ANSI B18.3) is extremely important and should be known if possible.

1.) If the standard isn’t available, a description of the head shape (cylinder head, countersunk head, lens head, hexagon, half-round head, etc.) and the drive (cross recess Pozidriv, cross recess Phillips, hexagon socket, hexalobular socket or Torx, slotted, etc.) is also sufficient. Of course, this doesn’t apply when describing a nut or washer.

2.) You should also provide a precise as possible description of the material. There are different ways of describing the required materials.
Stainless steel A2 can also be called 1.4301 or X5CrNi18-10! So, it’s important to pay close attention to any special material requirements.
We’re happy to offer you every conceivable material at any time (stainless steel A1, A2, and A4; steel, brass, titanium, Nitronic®, polyamide, and many more).

3.) Next, specify the diameter (metric, metric with fine thread, UNC, UNF) and the length.

4.) Finally, specify any required surface treatment. A distinction must be made between classic steel and stainless steel parts! Most surfaces are only available in combination with steel (e.g. galvanizing) or stainless steel (e.g. passivation).

Of course, other lengths and diameters are also available in addition to the usual standards. Thanks to our global network of manufacturers and trading partners, we can also provide drawing parts!
