Our history
1971 – Foundation of Korrodin-Douchman KG
The German Post Office increased the postage for standard letters from 50 pfennigs to 60 pfennigs. For the first time in the Federal Republic of Germany, children, women and men were legally entitled to free medical examinations for the early detection of diseases.
July 1, 1971 was a Thursday. On this day, Korrodin started its operations. The name says it all: Corrosion (Ger: Korrosion)-resistant DIN parts
The screw in the lemon means that stainless steel is rust and acid-resistant. Korrodin started by offering standard parts, manufactured by the well-known manufacturer of quality parts, Richard Bergner in Schwabach, Germany
1974 – Construction a new building in the Nuremberg harbor area
1985 – Entry of the Gerlach family into the business
Mr. Gerlach, who learned about the industry while working at a German screw manufacturing company and at a well-known screw wholesaler, took over the company’s management.
Customers of Korrodin prefer quality and demand more than just standard screws.
As a result, we began supplying increasingly more special parts and drawing parts in various high-quality materials.
