Our controlled environment
What is a controlled environment and what are the benefits for you?
In terms of cleanliness, a controlled environment ranks between a controlled area and a cleanroom.
What is a controlled environment?
A controlled environment is a separated area in which the cleanliness of the room and the air is higher than in the surrounding areas. In controlled environments, a cleanroom class requirement does not necessarily have to be met.
Cleanliness measures are taken when people and materials pass between the adjacent areas. This ensures that the “contamination” of parts can be controlled and reduced to a defined level.
(More information on “cleanrooms” can be found here).
Why is a controlled environment necessary?
Special requirements apply to every area in which an above-average level of cleanliness for individual components is necessary. To ensure that these requirements can be implemented, packaging and any additional processing must take place in a controlled environment. These requirements are widely used in the precision electronics industry and especially in medical technology, so that the end product can be assembled under ideal conditions and is fully functional.
What is our approach?
We have an extensive network of partners in the retail and manufacturing industries, and an equally extensive network of service providers who can properly clean and package the goods.
The first step is to manufacture / procure the component you require according to your specifications and needs. Parts that have not yet been cleaned are then sent to an external service provider where they are treated according to your specifications. The possibilities are numerous, for example we also offer ultrasonic fine cleaning and electropolishing. The processed goods are then returned to us and carefully packed for you under precise conditions in a controlled environment. This is done in a separate area in our building.
Precise kit assembly
We also offer kits. Kits are flat plastic boxes with individual compartments. This means that we can also provide cleanroom-compatible kits for your production facility without any additional expense, because the kits can be brought directly to a designated location for assembly.
